Selecting a column on a table page now opens an inspector beside the list, where the column's dimension is edited in place — no more switching to the Dimensions tab to rename a field or tag it as mappable.
The Connections and Semantic models pages have merged into one Data section under Settings → Admin. A connection and the semantic layer built on it are now one thing to open.
Expression dimensions, expression measures, the count of records and expression keys are now created and edited from the table page itself. The Keys, Dimensions and Measures tabs are gone: one column list, one inspector.
The column inspector on a table page now edits the column's measures and its key, next to its dimension. Everything a column carries is curated in one place, without switching tabs.
Metrics no longer hide in a tab on one table's page. Every connection now has a Metrics section in Settings → Admin → Data, and each metric has a page of its own — with a Check card that compiles the definition while you write it.
Every connection in Settings → Admin → Data now has a Relationships section: a map of how its tables join, drawn from the keys you, dbt or the warehouse declared — and a list of the references that don't join yet, each with a link to the column to fix.
A table's semantic layer used to be spread over four tabs — Keys, Dimensions, Measures, Metrics — that each listed the same columns from a different angle. The Tables section of a connection now opens on a table tree, and each table is a page with one list of its columns and what each of them means.
The table page in Settings → Admin → Data gains a Preview tab: the first 100 rows of the table, straight from the warehouse, beside the column list you are modeling.
