What Axi made, one click away
A conversation on Home now has a frame of its own: a header that names it, the box where you ask docked at the bottom, and — at the top of the right-hand column — every chart and table Axi made in it.
A conversation on Home now has a frame of its own: a header that names it, the box where you ask docked at the bottom, and — at the top of the right-hand column — every chart and table Axi made in it.
Home is now your workspace's front page. Axi's box stays in the middle; under it, your favorite and recent dashboards appear as cards, each with a sketch of its layout. One bar runs across the top of every page: the Axiome logo opens a new workspace menu, and your avatar opens your account menu.
A new chart no longer opens on graph paper, dotted axes and curved arrows. The editor draws a faint sketch of the chart you're building — bars, a line, a pie, a funnel, a Sankey, a map — with the places to click at its edges, and every chart type now opens on What do you want to see?. A new KPI says Pick a number right where its number will be. And on the dashboard, a widget you haven't set up yet shows what it will become too.
A table can now total a measure per group instead of listing rows — revenue per store, orders per month and channel — with a totals line, subtotals, and one column per value when you split it. And a click on any line shows the rows behind it.
A table's numbers can now say what they mean in colour — a heatmap, bars, two colours around a target, or just the values that meet a rule — and every column can print the way you read it: a currency, a percent, a month, a code.
A table's editor now reads the way the chart and KPI editors do — the Columns it lists, Only under some conditions, its Sort & limit and its Appearance — with the table beside it, at the size it has on your dashboard.
Every table in Axiome — on a dashboard, in the editors, in Axi's answers — has been redrawn to be read rather than deciphered: numbers line up on the right, dates read as dates, and a click on a header sorts, even when you can only view the dashboard.
A KPI's editor now reads the way the chart editor does — Show a number, Only under some conditions, Compared with something, and its Appearance — with the KPI beside it as the dashboard draws it, and both numbers side by side underneath.
Axi now works inside the chart editor itself: click Ask Axi at the top of the editor and it opens at the foot of the recipe, with the chart already attached. Say what you want changed — drop the split and compare with net revenue — and watch the steps change as Axi works.
In Settings → Admin → Data, Axi used to stop and ask before doing what you had just asked for. It now puts the change in your draft straight away and tells you what it assumed — the draft is where you review it, and nothing is saved until you press Save model.
