KPIs that say where the month is heading
A KPI on this week, this month or this quarter so far can now say where the period is heading. Set Projection in its Appearance, and a line under the value reads On track for €205K (€190K–€222K): where the period should end, and the range it is likely to end in.
What changed
- Will we make the month? The projection adds what the period holds up to yesterday to a forecast of every day left, read from the number's own days over the year before the period — with their weekly rhythm.
- From the first day. Nothing is in yet on the 1st, and the KPI still says where the month is heading: the forecast reads the past, not the days so far.
- Today counts as ahead. A day half done never drags the projection down.
- It says when it can't. A KPI on the last 30 days or on this year, an average or a unique count, too little history: the Projection row says why, and the KPI shows its value as always.
- Numbers only, in Paris. Like chart forecasts, it runs on Axiome's own forecast service, and nothing is kept. It reads the KPI's daily history from your warehouse at most once a day per person.
