A dashboard with one title
A dashboard used to carry its name twice — an input in the top bar and a big heading on the page, both editing the same thing — and a fixed footer at the bottom that mostly repeated what the header already said. The top bar now says where you are, the page says what it is, and the three menu entries that did nothing do the thing they promise.
The top bar says where you are
Dashboards › Sales 2024, with a star beside the name to favorite it. That is the whole left side. The title itself lives on the page, at the top, where you read it — click it in Edit mode to rename it.
On the right: Edit takes you into editing and Done takes you back out, instead of a two-way switch you had to read before clicking. Beside them, Share — no longer green, because green means a number went the right way everywhere else in Axiome — and then the four panels: Ask Axi, Data, History and Alerts.
The page header tells you what you need before scrolling
The title, the tags beside it, the description under it, and one quiet line: who owns the dashboard, when it last changed and who changed it — Marie Dupont · edited 2 h ago by Axi. Tags moved here from the top bar; in Edit mode a dashed tag chip next to them opens the picker.
The footer is gone, and with it "Axiome 1.0", the second copy of the last edit and the Online/Offline dot. Auto-save has not changed and still needs no button: the cloud mark in the top bar turns into a spinner while a change is on its way.
Favorite, Duplicate, Move, Remove
The ⋯ menu at the end of the bar now works:
- Duplicate makes a real copy — every tab, every widget with its configuration, and the tab filters — and opens it.
- Move to folder offers the same folder tree as the Dashboards page.
- Remove from your list takes the dashboard off your own lists and says so; it stays available to everyone it is shared with.
Closing a widget editor is now just closing it. Minimizing one parked it in the footer, and with the footer gone the editors close and reopen from the pencil, where they always did.
