Edit a column's dimension right from the column list
Selecting a column on a table page now opens an inspector beside the list, where the column's dimension is edited in place — no more switching to the Dimensions tab to rename a field or tag it as mappable.
What the inspector shows
Pick a column in Settings → Admin → Data → Tables: the pane on the right names it with its type and where its definition comes from, then three sections.
- Dimension — display name, description and kind; grains and the primary time axis for a time column; region set and identifier for a mappable one. A dimension imported from dbt stays read-only here, except for its geography.
- Measures and Key — what aggregates the column, and whether it is a primary or foreign key. Editing those still happens in the Measures and Keys tabs; it moves into the inspector next.
Two column-wide actions come with it. Hiding the column hides its dimension, measures and key from editors in one go — the switch on the Dimension section still hides the dimension alone. Reset column to generated drops every edit made to the column's generated fields.
Edits show in the column list as you type and are saved with the table's Save button, as before.
