Click a figure to see where Axi read it
Every figure Axi read from your data is now marked in its answer. Click one to see the line it came from — your governed metric, or a query Axi wrote itself — and how it was read.
What changed
- A quiet mark on the figures that were read. A dotted gray underline sits under each figure that matches a value one of the turn's reads returned, exactly or rounded the way Axi wrote it — €2.8M for 2,819,534.
- Its line, among its neighbours. Click the figure: its line is lit among the read's lines, with what it was read for — for
stores.city= Lyon — and the exact value when Axi rounded it. - What it rests on. A figure from your company's metrics shows the metric's definition, the read in words and the SQL Axiome generated. A figure from a query Axi wrote says Custom query and shows its SQL, ready to copy. When several reads returned the figure, you switch between them, the governed one first.
- Both ways. Show in sources takes you from the figure to the step that read it, opened in the line under the answer. The other way round, hovering a step in that line lights every figure it returned.
- Names too. A city, a category or a status Axi read is marked the same way when no figure beside it already leads to its line — in Paris served four times as many covers as Lyon, both cities open onto their lines.
- No mark, no claim. A figure Axi worked out itself — a share, a difference, a total it added up — carries no mark. The marks come from what Axi actually read, never from what it writes, so older conversations gain them too.
