Charts that show where they're heading

A chart over dates can now continue past today. Turn on Forecast in a chart's Appearance, and each line carries on as a dashed line inside the range it is likely to fall in, 8 times in 10.

What changed

  • The trend, continued. Pick how far ahead to look — the next 30 days, 13 weeks, 6 months… — and the chart draws the likeliest value and its band, past a dotted Forecast line.
  • This month, so far. The period still running shows what it holds beside where it should end: so far 120k · expected 205k.
  • It says when it can't. Too little history, a chart that stops before today or reached its row limit: a quiet line under the chart says why, instead of a forecast you shouldn't trust.
  • Numbers only, in Paris. The forecast comes from Timestral, Mistral AI's open-weight model, run by Axiome itself: the chart sends its numbers — no names, no dates — and nothing is kept.
  • Bigger charts. A chart now reads up to 20,000 rows, four times as many as before: long daily charts split by many values draw whole.
