What Axi read, kept with the answer
While Axi works it narrates what it is reading — Read 14 columns of orders, Sampled 50,000 rows. Until now those lines disappeared the moment the answer arrived, which is roughly when you might want to look at them. They now stay.
One line under the answer
Every reply that touched your data carries a quiet line beneath it:
Read orders, customers · 3 queries
Open it and the steps come back in full, in the order Axi took them — the schema it read, the columns it checked, the queries it ran and how many rows each returned. Close it and you have the answer again, uncluttered.
The line only appears when Axi actually read something from your warehouse. Ask it how to share a dashboard and there is nothing to show, so nothing is shown.
It stays with the conversation
This is not a live view that vanishes on reload. Reopen a thread from last month and every answer in it still carries its sources — including answers given long before this change, because the record was always there, just never surfaced.
That makes a claim checkable after the fact. When Axi says revenue reached €4.2M, you can see which tables the number came from and how many queries stood behind it, without asking it again and hoping for the same answer.
