Ask Axi inside the chart editor
Axi now works inside the chart editor itself: click Ask Axi at the top of the editor and it opens at the foot of the recipe, with the chart already attached. Say what you want changed — drop the split and compare with net revenue — and watch the steps change as Axi works.
The same steps you edit
Axi changes the chart through the same recipe you complete by hand. The steps it touched are marked changed by Axi, and the measures, breakdowns and conditions it added or changed are tinted, until your next edit. Its reply sits right above the box, one line per change, each with its undo arrow. When the chart has outgrown its title, a note beside the title offers a new one — one click takes it — and an untitled chart is offered one too.
One conversation, not two
The box in the editor is the dashboard's Axi, not a second one: a reply that was still being written keeps going, and closing the editor hands everything back to the side panel. The editor shows only the questions about the chart you're editing; the side panel keeps the whole conversation. Axi starts closed, so the recipe keeps its full height until you ask — and closes again with its ×.
Start a chart by describing it
On a new chart, the box under What do you want to see? now goes to Axi: describe the chart — revenue per month by channel, only France — and Axi opens and fills the recipe for you. Clicking a point in the editor offers Explain with Axi too, answered in the same place.
Removing a split
Axi can now take a split away from a chart, which it couldn't before — "no split" works wherever you ask it, in the editor or in the side panel.
