Ask about a widget, and see which filters reach it
What a widget's buttons open now looks like one thing. The ✨, and Tab filters in the ⋯, open the same popover beside the widget, and it names the widget — Ask Axi about Orders by channel, Tab filters on Gross margin — so you always know which one you're looking at, even when it covers a neighbour.
Ask Axi, with what it reads in sight
The ✨ now opens Axi's own message box, aimed at the widget. Above the field, the widget's chip and a gray chip — 2 tab filters — say what Axi is told along with your question; hover it to read the filters. Up to three suggestions under the field fill it in for you to finish: questions in View, changes Axi can make in Edit. Nothing is sent until you press Enter, and the answer opens in the Axi panel, the widget attached. In View, Axi only reads, and the box says so.
Every filter, as its pill
Tab filters lists every filter on the tab, drawn as the pill you see at the top of the page — point at one and that pill lights up. A ticked box means the filter reaches the widget; untick it to leave the widget out. A filter that can't reach it is faded, with the reason beside it: a different connection, no join path to the table, no date column. The date filter says which date the widget is filtered on — auto, or overridden when someone picked it — and in Edit you can pick another right there.
In View, a filter you changed for yourself says only you, and Reset puts the dashboard's filters back. A period you set for yourself is now outlined in blue on the filter row too, like every other pill you changed.
