A denser board
Widget titles used to sit on the card's border, floating over the outline — which meant every widget needed a margin above and below it just to give the title somewhere to live. That margin is gone, the title has moved inside the card as its first line, and the whole board has tightened onto one spacing scale. KPIs got a shape of their own along the way.
The title is the card's first line
Every widget now opens with its name, inside the card, above its content. Click it to rename it in Edit mode; leave it blank and the widget's type stands in while you're editing, then steps aside for readers. Text widgets have no title line and no frame at all — they read as part of the page, with the outline appearing only when you reach for them.
That first line does more than carry the name. A chart split by Color by into four series or fewer puts its legend at the right end of it, where it reads as part of the title and takes no width from the chart itself. An AI summary puts its section picker and its Refresh button there, instead of a second bar above the text.
KPIs are tiles now
A KPI used to be a big centred number with its comparison stacked underneath on two lines. It is now a compact tile: the title, the value left-aligned in tabular figures, and one line beneath it — ↑12% vs last month — with the change and what it's measured against sharing that line. New KPIs start at 120 px tall instead of 160, so four of them across the top of a dashboard cost you a quarter less of the screen.
Refreshing a KPI no longer swaps its number for the word Loading: the last value stays and dims while the new one arrives, so the tile holds still when you change a filter.
Everything moved closer together
One scale across the board: 24 px between widgets, between rows and between stacked widgets, 12 px inside a card. Tabs, tables and text came down a size to match. Resizing a widget now steps in 8 px rather than 32, so you can land on the height you actually wanted — every widget you've already sized stays exactly where it is.
Two verbs instead of an icon
A widget you haven't set up yet used to show an icon and Click to configure. It now says what it needs — Pick a measure, or Pick a number to show for a KPI — and offers ask Axi beside it, if you'd rather describe what you want than build it.
And Card is called KPI everywhere: in the add bar, in the widget's type, in alerts and in the docs. Every entry in the add bar also carries a one-line description now, so the five types explain themselves.
